The Sims 2 and The Sims 2 Pets (consoles)

• Provided UI art support to the team for a number of months during a very crucial time near the end of the game’s development
• Worked with minimal direction to deliver high quality art assets for very complex UI
The Sims 3 (PC)
• Served as UI art lead throughout the projects
• Provided direction for a small number of in-house UI artists as well as a number of external icon artists
• Worked closely with art director to ensure a proper look and feel for the UI
• Worked closely with engineers to ensure art assets were appropriately optimized delivered in an efficient manner
• Worked in Adobe Flash to lay out screens and UI elements for easy implementation by engineers

MySims, MySims Kingdom, and MySims Agents (Nintendo Wii)

• Served as UI art director throughout project development
• Oversaw a team of 5 in-house UI artists as well as a number of external icon artists
• Created series of mood boards to explore different stylistic directions for the UI
• Created style guides not only for the look and feel of the UI, but also for its functionality
• Worked closely with team leadership, game designers, producers, and art director to ensure the aesthetics of the UI were consistent with the goals for the product
• Continued to create art assets throughout the game’s development, and worked closely with engineers to make sure all art assets were integrated into the game efficiently and effectively

• Created a large number of in-world assets, UI screens, and icons with minimal direction
• Traveled to London for 3 weeks to provide art support
